What's the best grade of oil for a honda car w/ 150,000 miles?

with older engines (say, 1975 and older or so) it's a good idea to step up to a heavier oil with high milage, but with your honda engine, heavier oil will probably make the engine tick (valvetrain noise) I have seen this several times, even with high millage engines. You can monkey with the valve adjustment for days and it won't fix it. Just use what it says to use in the owner's manual every time. What's the best grade of oil for a honda car w/ 150,000 miles?
The same oil as the manufacturer's said on the manual. Too thick it will wear the engine quicker while is cold cranked. If does not smoke and runs fine, there is not need for one of those magic oils for old engines. If starts to smoke some, a rebuild is more proper. Might need some rings and valve guides and maybe some bearings. I have a car with over 160,000+ and I use regular 5W30 like it says on the book. It does not smokes or run rough. What's the best grade of oil for a honda car w/ 150,000 miles?
I would use Valvoline high mileage oil. It can be spendy, but worth it for your car in the long run.
have 95 honda w/ 247000 miles use 5/30 castral high milage change every 5000 miles and still driving 140 miles a day
