If its smoking its probably burning oil try some stop leak and check the oil level everyday it only takes one time to do serious damage.Castrol High milage has better burn off protection but allways check your oil if you are burning oil.There are products that help it from leaking oil such as Motor oil honey and numerous others and Castrol does have 17% better burn off if you use the high milage formula just to answer in defence of the other know it all.';Chubby';.There is allso a product called engine restore that helps some with leakage.The only thing to make it quit burning oil is a ring job and most cars are not worth that much once its that far along.My car was smoking and had low oil I just changed the oil?
OK Car %26amp; Year? Engine %26amp; Mileage? Did you get a ';Low Oil Light'; (Those lights mean ';0'; Oil Pressure). If you got the Light then Smoke and Noise from the Engine a Rebuild or Replacement could be at hand.
I let my oil get too low in my old car and it smoked. I just put oil in it as soon as possible. That was about 10,000 miles ago. The damage is done, but my car is still drivable.
may be ok...or not...all u can do is keep eye on it from now on...ck your coolant too,,,and power steering fluid....and tranny fluid and brake fluid,,,and,,,and ,,and..
If it's not leaking oil and it's full but not over filled and it's smoking out the exhaust it's worn or damaged.
it might have lung cancer... for real though it depends on whether or not damage was done to its cylinder head or piston rings. if its running ok n its not smoking anymore u should be alright.

Stop Leak wont stop it from burning oil! Stop leak goes in the radiator to stop a water leak.


Back to the question: Put in some Motor Medic. It should stop the smoking or slow it down a lot.
