I need know when the first oil using car was made.?

I am reserching US dependancy on oil.

thanks.I need know when the first oil using car was made.?
The model T ford was not the first vehicle, but the first mass-produced vehicle in the world and it is the vehicle that put America on wheels. That was the start of our true dependence on oil. Truth be told it is a much better technology than electric or steam power for cars. It was not a big conspiracy to destroy public transportation, people loved their cars and they wanted them. However, now that we know about the effects on the evironment it is time to move on.

To correct another post, Ford's V8 came out in 1932.I need know when the first oil using car was made.?
Henry Ford Quadra-Cycle automobile around the turn of the century 108 years ago. Neighbors were afraid of Gasoline it could explode. Duryea motors makes a automobile around 1869 I don't know what fueled that car. You can state that as soon as oil was discovered in Pennsylvania there were people trying to find ways to use it. Even as patent medicines. The big Texas oil strikes really fueled American production of large cars. As we thought back then we were awash in oil. 18 cent a gallon gasoline 1955 was also the year Chevrolet introduced the small block V-8 engine. Ford's flat head V-8 engine was 1937.
The first car to run on petrol was made in 1885 by the German engineer Karl Benz. Since then almost all cars have run on petrol.
