Just sold car and buyer calls and said oil light is on?

If i sold a car and didn't do an as is receipt can the people that bought the car come after me for repairs?

The car was great for me and they just bought it Saturday now Monday the oil light is on. I feel bad about this and hope they don't sue meJust sold car and buyer calls and said oil light is on?
it's not your problem

even if they try to sue you (they won't) they will lose

they either are trying to get something for nothing out of you or they are ignorantJust sold car and buyer calls and said oil light is on?
Its their problem, not yours. But, you should have kept a copy of the bill of sale that said AS IS with the buyers signature.

Don't worry about it now.

They wouldnt be sending you money if the car lasted longer than they expected.
They may try to imply you are responsible, but you are not. The ONLY way they would have any power is if you made a written guarantee of condition. Otherwise, the sale was as-is. Anything could have happened in those two days.
any used vehicle is sold with the implied idea that its as is. pretty much tell them to deal with it and if it goes to them sueing you they will be waisting their money. dont feel bad about it it wasnt on when you sold it
