5 quarts including the filter. and check your oil after your done
Unless it is a big truck it probably takes between 4 and 5 quarts.

The solution is simple: drain the oil and replace the filter and drain plug. Put in 3 or 4 quarts of oil. Then check the oil level using the dipstick.

If it isn't up to the ';full'; mark on the dipstick, put in oil until it is.

After you are up to the full mark, start the engine and run it for a couple of minutes. turn it off and check the oil again. Add to bring it up to full again.

That Suzuki should be a 4 quart motor. If you're that ';hard up'; you could always do the change with 4 quarts then check it. If it needs another quart you could just drive to the parts store and buy another. After all, it would only be 1 quart low, and that won't hurt anything.
When you ask this question you should include the information about the car you are talking about. With a filter, most Engines will take 5 quarts.

You will be safe in using that figure. Put in four quarts and then start the Engine to distrubute the oil. Turn the Engine off and Check the oil again. You should be able to add another quart on most cars.
NO website i'm aware of, simply make sure the dipstick reads full then drain the oil into a pan or gallon jug then you can see how much oil will be needed to refill engine and don't for get the oil filter too.good luck
With a filter (recommended) 5 qts.
Check your owners manual V6 usually about 5 quarts. Call the dealership they would also beable to tell you
Visit the manufacterer websit for you specific vehicle.
Put the year and make of vehicle in the search box or most autio stores can tell you , or call a oil change place near you they should tell you !! Good luck
Here's a step by step on oil changes...it shows: Unscrew the oil cap from the top of the engine, insert the funnel. Pour about 3 quarts of the new oil into the engine for starters. After that, top it off after checking the oil level on the stick since there is likely to be a small bit of old oil still in the engine. This will prevent overfill, which can cause as many problems to your engine as having too little oil.
You can use, as a standard, the number of cylenders the motor has per quart of oil. If it's an 8 cylender motor, plan on using about 8 quarts of oil. Add them slowly and check the dip stick frequently so you don't overfill the crank case with oil. (when you get to the 4th quart on an 8 cylender motor)
Minimum 4 quarts, then top up using the dipstick as a guide. If you're really worried about it, contact the service department of the nearest dealer and give them the model and engine size~ they'll tell you exactly how much.
