if the manufacturer recommends 10w40 then use 10w40, which is, by the way, one grade of regular car oil. when you go to buy your oil you will see as much 10w40 as anything else, so you will really have to go out of your way to use something else.Do i have to use 10 w40 oil on a suzuki 1000? They do make 10 w40 for cars as well...just use the damn recommended oil!
