Which brand of motor oil and oil filters do car dealers usually use for oil changes?

If it's an auto dealer, they will use the manufacturer's brand of filters. For example, Toyota uses Toyota filters, Ford uses their own branded (Mastercraft) filters.

If it's a service station not affiliated with any one manufacturer, they sometimes carry multiple lines of filters. They will have their 'value' line which will be whatever is the cheapest on the market and they may offer brand name filters such as Fram or another brand at a higher cost.

For oil, the auto dealer will use whatever the manufacturer recommends. The aftermarket guys will again usually have multiple choices such as regular or synthetic, brand name (such as Mobil 1 or Quaker State for example) or a no-name, cheaper alternative.Which brand of motor oil and oil filters do car dealers usually use for oil changes?
Oh goodness, the cheapest and trashiest ones they can get, if they even really change the oil at all. Our car dealer is lame, they almost never do what they say they will, and we have to go back over and over. Such a pain. And then I have a brother in law who recently told me he used to work at a dealership dealing with people's cars that they brought in, and those boys did whatever they damn well felt like doing in peoples cars, stories that would raise the hairs on the back of your neck. If you value your car, do the oil change yourself!Which brand of motor oil and oil filters do car dealers usually use for oil changes?
in authorised dealership only car manufacture suggest oil filter and oil chang in service. in local garage cheap and lower quality filter and lube used.
My local Infiniti store uses stock Mobil oil (5W-30 is recommended for my car) and standard Nissan filters.
Depends what is recommended for the car in the owners manual.
